If you don’t know yet, I will remind you that I have free models for 3D printing.
This time for the orcs. It’s an orc truck. Not a complete set, but you can easily make walls from scrap metal without using 3D printing (plastic cardboard).

2020 results at Shapeways

Despite the fact that COVID was not supposed to affect online sales, they fell dramatically.
Absolutely no sales at 6mm, although I had hopes for it due to its low printing cost and easy modeling.
Other historical models are also rarely sold.
The reason is not exactly known, but I think that people simply don’t know about the store existance.
Spare parts for Warhammer are sold normally, so I need to pay attention to these models and improve the range. Especially helmets, heads and hand weapons. I have no personal desire to make shoulder pads and shoulder emblems. Let others do that, for example Pop goes the Monkey already has a wide selection.
Also, I need to do something with the turrets for the tanks. It is possible to make them composite, where the turret is made of cheaper “versalite” material and the cannons and small parts are made of more precise “smooth” materials.
Some models need update due to changes in requirements and the introduction of a minimum printing price (so don’t ask me to make ONE small model, it will cost like 10 or more anyway).
Since I have difficulties with money for living, and the income from Shapeways is small, I still cannot make new test prints of my models there myself (and there is still no delivery to Russia). However, I will try to print some on home printers.
In general, the service works ok and this is good, since there are no alternatives.
I will think about what to do so that hobbyinsts know about my store existance. About how to make the models sell – there is no secret. I need to work on quality, which means on modelling skill.
